The top standing club in Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain star has denied it wants to hijack Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo from the Santiago Bernabeu. It was delivered directly by PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
"Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player, but he is still under contract with Real Madrid. I had never spoken to someone from the management of Madrid," he said as quoted by Soccerway Khelaifi, Thursday, November 1, 2012.
Earlier, PSG reportedly returned to show the ambition to set up a fund to bring Cristiano Ronaldo. PSG has set aside 100 million euros, or almost reached Rp1, 25 triliiun to sign Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho.
To tempt Ronaldo, PSG reportedly ready to pay high salary to the player that is still binding contract with Madrid until 2015. PSG will offer salary of 18 million euros per year or 4 million euros more than he receives in the Santiago Bernabeu. viva
